My father is a diabetic and many of the students of The Pliagility Fitness Program are diabetics. We feel for the diabetic community and believe that many people that were recently diagnosed with diabetes can reverse Type-2 Diabetes in less than Six Months through hardwork and dedication to living a healthy and active lifestyle.
Example: John was a Diabetic Student of Pliagility
When "John" came to us he was over 300 pounds and nearing 50 years old. He was, recently, diagnosed with Type-2 Diabetes and High blood pressure. His A1C was a staggering 12 % (normal is below 5.7) and his fasting glucose was consistently in the 300s. John was sick and his sickness was caused by poor choices in his life.
His doctor told him within the next few years he was likely to either die, go blind and/or lose a leg. He was put on Metformin and recommended to get a Personal Trainer and Nutritionist to assist him in getting to a healthy weight and eating regime. John has a great doctor. Many doctors say little to nothing about health and nutrition to patients and simply prescribe food. It is interesting to note that most medical programs have no mandatory class on nutrition.
John's Journey from Fat to Fabulous We started John off on Step 1 of the Pliagility Program and he graduated into Step 2 of the Pliagility Program in three months.
John exercised four days each week with Sean Hayes: walked around his neighborhood, at least, four days each week; drank three liters of water every day; accomplished Pliagility Milestones on track; and fulfilled Pliagility Habits nearly flawlessly and consulted twice each week with a nutrition coach that got him thinking and eating healthy.
Sean and the nutrition coach's motivation and perseverance were key to getting John on track and keeping him on the track. John was a trooper, once motivated, sometimes with a stick and sometimes a carrot - he would meet the expected Milestones, Goals and Habits. John saved his life by following the Pliagility Program.
The process was not easy for Sean or John. Sean would call John whenever he didn't enter his food into the Pliagility App, Sean would congratulate him on Pliagility Milestones and reward him with new fitness equipment and sometimes a poorly sung congratulations song when he consistently met the Pliagility Habits. We needed to stay on John and John needed to be vested in the Pliagility Program for the result John and Pliagility received.
With John being motivated and his willingness to believe in the Pliagility Program, John in less than five months, lost over 100 pounds and he is no longer diabetic. We love you John. Keep up the good work.
