Afterburn Effect: Burning Calories and Fat Post-Work

Afterburn Effect Explained

The Afterburn Effect or Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption (EPOC) is, in short, the calories burned after the completion of exercise. Thus, an increase in EPOC leads to more calories burned without additional effort post-exercise.
